whats in a name ???

Well I guess some may or may not be wondering about the name ,folkart lullaby .Well it came out of the blue when I was getting a Gmail account but after a little though , It totally fits my perspective on alot things .

Well first there is the word folkart . check this out :

folk art wikipedia

art that's made not by professionals but by common people .That really fits me cause I'm not a professional at all , actually I dislike anything that smacks of professionalism . I like rough edges , I guess . Also it states that folkart reflects traditional values , which I agree with as well . Things that it seems that we have moved away from . When I was young I was taught that you helped you family and friends and that you tried to be a good person in general . Is that what we really see on a day to day basis anymore ????

Then theres the word lullaby , so check this out :

lullaby wikipedia

what is a lullaby's purpose its simple and soothing . Something that everyone needs.
Everyone needs somewhere or something to cast off the residue of modern life . Also I don't think to make any change in this world better we have to do it thru loud violent methods . It can be done with soft hands and a soft heart . Just think about it if everyone changed one little thing a day that no one would notice , ( example , cut someone some slack on there actions , not gossip as much , tell someone they are doing good things or they are a good person , or just smiled alittle more ) . How much better every ones day to day life would be . I have been guilty of not doing these things as much as everyone else but I'm gonna try to make a change . So I guess that's what a lullaby is a simple soothing dream but one worth having ..

Till next time

like a stray scratching on your door again
