oh my god .. now that just makes me wanna jump out of my skin

o.k. so tonight - good Friday no less , I had an epiphany. I watched the DVD for Neil young 1971 Massey hall - live and it was stellar . It just blew me away . I don't understand , it confirmed that there is a place for art in this world , if its only for a simple little moment in time or if it only exists in your bedroom or living room . Just for that moment . It just destroyed me , I can't explain it , it was like watching an exorcism , to be so free . You should buy this DVD forget the CD version , get the DVD . It just filled me up with so much hope that songs can change things , that they can make you feel , that it is not just plastic for teenagers to shake there asses and do drugs to . IT made me feel alive and I didn;t move off the bed the whole time , I was stone sober , and I felt high . It was fucking great . Just stellar .

Also I have discovered ( or not really discovered ) but relearned double drop d tuning today . It was like my first guitar , not big blue but my other workhorse just looked at me last nite and said " I need new strings " so I did that . Then today it looked at me and said " I wanna be in double drop d " ( low to high Dadgbd ) . So here I am off to the races after about 20 Min's on the net looking at chords in this said tuning , gonna write some more tunes tonight ... I feel very creative .

In other news , my Mic's are giving me hell with hiss , when I mastered a few of my tracks it sounded like shit but I'm gonna run them thru audacity and see if that will take some of the hiss off them . hopefully so . Also this was a long week at work didn't get much creative done at home , recorded a demo for mike to get the feel of so we can record it ( kinda of a jimi ballad type thing , with little flowing things , still thinking about how the thing will fit together . )

Big news that Liam agreed to jam this summer so that's excellent , you don't understand how good this guy is on bass , he fits with mike perfect , they are rock solid together and its so fucking cool . They make me wanna do better .
